Astrid Perez is a Senior Paralegal for Brotman Law, where she is responsible for setting up payment plans and settlements with the state tax agencies and preparing financials and forms that need to be submitted to the state and the IRS. Astrid also keeps clients updated on the status of their cases and any changes for which they need to be aware.
What Astrid loves most about her job is the work that she does in tax law, which is what inspired her to begin working on her Master’s Degree. She enjoys analyzing companies’ and individuals’ finances with the end goal of putting them on a better path with their finances and creating a healthier financial future. She particularly enjoys the camaraderie and teamwork at Brotman Law where everyone works together to provide clients with the best possible resolution.
Prior to joining Brotman Law, Astrid served as a paralegal for four different law firms with specialties in medical malpractice, personal injury, family law and immigration law. Astrid graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media studies. She received her Paralegal certificate from the University of Southern California and is now working on obtaining her Master’s Degree with a focus on accounting from the University of Alabama – Birmingham online program.
Born and raised in the San Diego area, Astrid has a passion for cycling and half marathons. She is currently expecting her first child, a girl, in October 2020, after which she hopes to complete a full marathon.
