Leticia Zecca is a Post Bar Law Clerk at Brotman Law, where she is responsible for setting up payment plans, filing Offers in Compromise, negotiating settlements with the state tax agencies, and preparing financials to be submitted to the state and federal agencies.
Leticia also keeps clients updated on the status of their cases and any changes for which they need to be aware.
What Leticia loves most about her job is the work that she does in tax law, which is what inspired her to begin working on her Master’s Degree.
She enjoys analyzing companies’ and individuals’ finances with the end goal of putting them on a better path with their finances and creating a healthier financial future.
She particularly enjoys the camaraderie and teamwork at Brotman Law where everyone works together to provide clients with the best possible resolution.
Prior to joining Brotman Law, Leticia served as a Public Defender for the Rio de Janeiro courts in Brazil for almost fifteen years. Leticia is still a member of the Brazilian Bar Association with specialty in civil litigation.
Leticia graduated from Pontificia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law studies. She has a Post-Graduation in Civil and Constitutional Laws from UERJ-Rio de Janeiro, a LL.M. in General Legal Studies with focus in International Business Transactions from Georgetown University.
Currently she is working on obtaining her Master’s Degree with a focus on Taxation and waiting for the results of the California Bar Examination.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Leticia speaks Portuguese, Italian, and English, and is quickly picking up Spanish. She has a passion for scuba diving (she loves sharks!), running, traveling and good food.
