Lindsay Pyfrom's journey to becoming an Associate Attorney at Brotman Law is marked by her extensive background in tax law and her commitment to client advocacy. After graduating from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2014 with Honors in Negotiations Theory & Skills and Pro Bono Honors, Lindsay joined H&R Block as a Lead Tax Research Specialist and later as a QA Analyst. In these roles, she was recognized as a high performer, providing nuanced responses to complex tax laws and regulations for clients while ensuring the accuracy of tax documents and integrating tax preparation software across multiple platforms.

In January 2021, Lindsay passed the California State Bar exam and began working as a legal writer with the Carlsbad Law Group, where she reviewed client files, wrote demand letters, and applied applicable laws to contract disputes. Her journey into tax law, combined with her background in psychology, has equipped her with unique skills to handle stressed clients with empathy and efficiency. Lindsay's ability to reassure clients by taking over their tax problems and providing effective solutions has been a cornerstone of her professional approach.

Here at Brotman Law, Lindsay focuses on federal and state tax controversy. Outside of her professional achievements, Lindsay brings a relatable and compassionate touch to her work at Brotman Law. In her personal life, Lindsay finds joy in raising her Pit Bull, Ruffio, whom she adopted from a tenant who struggled with the dog's size and strength. Despite the common misconceptions about Pit Bulls, Lindsay has come to understand and appreciate their unique personalities, noting with a smile that “Pit Bulls are misunderstood; their heads might feel like concrete when they run into you, but they are loving companions.”

In her leisure time, Lindsay enjoys indulging in cartoons, gardening, and exploring her interest in crystals. She also cherishes playful moments with her friend’s Dogo Argentino, a breed similar to Ruffio but often perceived as dangerous. Lindsay finds joy in discovering the affectionate nature of these misunderstood breeds, reflecting her empathetic approach both at home and in her legal practice.
