Jessica Llort, J.D., LL.M., Esq. serves as a Senior Associate Attorney at Brotman Law, where she works with the firm’s clients, advising them on tax planning, providing solutions to their tax matters, and setting up payment plans and collection arrangements with the IRS, FTB, EDD and other state entities.
Jessica’s passion for her work emanates from her desire to guide clients who have tax issues with the IRS through the necessary processes and requirements, while also educating them about their rights.
Jessica is particularly proficient on helping them identify and eliminate any root problems that may have led to their tax issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessica clerked at two boutique tax firms in San Diego and also interned at University of San Diego’s State Income Tax Clinic and the State Sales & Use Tax Clinic. In so doing that work, she received the 2020 Graduation Award for Outstanding Clinic Intern. Jessica graduated from Duke University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in her double major of Public Policy and Earth and Ocean Sciences, and a Certificate on Asian and Middle Eastern Studies.
Following that, she relocated to the University of San Diego where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree and her LL.M degree in Tax. Jessica is a member of the State Bar of California and licensed to practice statewide.
When she is not working, Jessica enjoys time with her family. She likes going for walks to the beach, doing yoga, and being outside as much as possible.
